Seeking for the best ENS version on XDC

As you may notice from the existing focus of web3 products in general in the market, one of the important factors is UX which means how to give an ability to make the complex web3 products to feel like a web2 product, for instance, AA, simpler UIs, etc.

ENS was one of the first movers to get rid of this weird and random string in addresses and it’s still one of the best protocols in the market.

Per my research on the XDC ecosystem, there have been efforts to have XDC-compatible ENS known as XDC Domains for the last few years.

xdcdomains.xyz is one of the main ones(not aware of other implementations) if you search on Google.

I have seen that many addresses registered their own XDC domains, including myself. however, if you take a look at the platform it’s roughly an old website and it’s tough to interact for normal or newly-onboarded users. on the other hand, I didn’t find any documentation that shows how to interact as both Devs and users.

XDCDomains should be integrated into many wallets, dApps, etc. and also its UI interface should be enhanced much more better.

It’s worth noting that XDCDomains team is aware of updates around this matters as I’ve on their X posts:

XDCDAO is gonna integrate it but the team needs more clarification about xdcdomains.xyz and its roadmap.

This topic may be an opener to move the XDC ecosystem on the UX momentum. Please share your thoughts or you may have anything off your head.

P.S.: I haven’t found anyone from xdcdomains.xyz team to discuss their role in the XDC ecosystem in terms of the above-mentioned.

I agree that simplifying the user experience and bridging the gap between web2 and web3 is crucial for broader adoption. I’m looking forward to seeing how the XDCDomains team addresses your points.

"I am an early domain buyer. I have also written about this for a long time, and XDC Domains need to be integrated into various platforms such as blockchain explorers, wallets, etc. The XDC Network itself should actively push for this.

It seems that the operators of @xrpdomain and xdcdomains are the same. They were also working on domain projects for a few other chains, but I forgot which ones.
