Stuck on repeating error message 'device disconnected during transfer'

Hello, I need support with a couple issues:

I transferred my XDC balance from Uphold to an XDC Wallet. This wallet will not pair with my Ledger device and now I can no longer access it. I only have the address but no way to login or access the account or balance. I tried everything to link this wallet with my Ledger device. I kept getting an error. Eventually, it created a second XDC wallet address.

I was able to transfer a couple XDC into it again (just to see if it would work). Then, when I try do anything with this account – whether it’s pair with my Ledger Nano X, send/receive to any other account, or to transfer tokens between the two XDC wallet addresses, I get the error message no matter what I do. ('the device has disconnected during transfer).

All I am trying to do is have a single XDC wallet that is linked to my Ledger Nano X device.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you send XDC from Uphold to a software wallet first?

or you created a XDC wallet using your ledger device and sent XDC to that?

BEWARE of anyone commenting under the post asking you to connect your wallet to some external site or asking you to contact someone outside of this platform. They are scammer.

Initially, the first.

Something went wrong and I sent it to a different wallet address that I tried and failed to connect to my Ledger nano device.

So now in have two XDC wallets, one w full balance and one empty. I can’t get into the one with the full balance.

When I try to send/receive I get that same error msg. Thnx

Mate, I cautioned you to avoid people suggesting you to connect your wallet to some external website or sending you over to some other platform to seek assistance. I hope you haven’t connected your wallet to some external site that Mark or the guy on Telegram shared.

I understand. Have not connected to outside sites or shared wallets with anyone. Problem still unresolved. Thanks.
