Ok thank you Sean for your help
Sorry just one more question mate Iâm trying to link my Trezor with the wallet and itâs asking to read the public key is this right , I will attach a pic , thanks mate
Yes, thatâs right.
You can refer to this article to understand the UI and how Trezor works with XDC wallet
Hi Sean
Thanks very much for that info, by linking my treasure to the wallet does that take my keys off the Blockchain or and make it a lot more secure storing my coins, thanks again mate appreciate your help
And if I do link it will I still be able to get into the wallet with out the Trezor , thanks Sean
While using hard wallets, your private keys are stored off chain, on to your device only. So, Yes that does add a layer of security.
You can but, while doing that, youâll expose your keys. So, not advisable.
Ok mate I get you , the link you sent said
If you are having trouble accessing your XDC coins on Trezor due to the XDC Web Wallet compatibilityâŚ
Has that now been resolved cause I just wouldnât know how to get access if it happened , thanks mate
The previous wallet had compatibility issues with Trezor, which led to the publication of an article explaining how to access an XDC wallet via MEW (MyEtherWallet). Since the XDC web wallet is a fork of MEW, it shares the exact same user interface. However, the updated XDC wallet no longer has any compatibility issues.
