3 yrs ago I established the XDC wallet on xinfin.org. I am now trying to get into my wallet and it seems there have been some changes. When using the 'new" wallet site at wallet.xdc.network (or xdcwallet.com) but upon inputing my 12 words and password, I do get into a wallet but it shows a zero balance in all 0x addresses. I have tried to play with the network (xdc network, eth path, etc.) but nothing happens. The last address I sent tokens to started with XDC (not with 0x). My address on XDCscan does show the correct balance. In various forums Ive read tips like trying different browsers, not using wifi but rather a your phones cell service, sending xdc to the address to “reactivate” etc, and have spent countless hours to no avail. I know the quick response will be to ensure my password but be assured my 12 words and password are 100% correct (I wrote them down and had been using the wallet years ago). So…my question is how can I recover my wallet. Given the number of folks who seem to have the same issue, Id assume there wouldve been a remedy by now.
- Can I recover and access my account via the 12 word seed through a different wallet source (ie xdcpay, guardia, mew, etc)???
- Is the problem due to my wallet being “old” and having an address with an XDC prefix (not eth)?
- My password contains numbers…does this impact when the wallet asks for the extra “word”
- Can I get into the “old wallet” site?
- When accessing, does the browser, wifi source, impact the ability to access your wallet?
I supported XDC when it first launched and Im hoping the folks at XDC can provide me a solution. Again, its not a matter of a wrong password
