Restoration of XSwap wallet showing different address

Hi. I bought a new iPhone XR → iPhone 16 Pro. I installed the XSwap wallet and tried to restore using my seed phrases. However, I cannot see the contents of my wallet since it is a new address and my balance is now Zero. Is there anybody who can help me restore my original wallet? I have a screenshot of the original wallet and truncated address start and end digits as well as the coins

Hi, u must have generated a new wallet. Make sure that the wallet u have now is empty by checking the address at xdcscan.com. Once confirmed empty, delete the wallet then import your old wallet using ur 12 word recovery seed phrase.

Do I delete the wallet in my XSwap app from the app itself? How do I delete my wallet? Also, once deleted how do I add a new wallet? Also from the app?

I’ve managed to delete the wallet and when I reimported my old wallet using my seed phrase the same wrong wallet (same incorrect wallet address) loaded up again. I’ve deleted the app from my phone and am busy reinstalling again. Hopefully that will sever the link with that wrong addie.

It’s putting back the empty wallet despite me deleting i from the app. Also import doesnt seem to work. Mainnet support told me i should run the sync protocol by manually connecting to the mainnet.

However i cant seem to connect using my seed phrase or private key. I’m stuck somewhere in the middle with this. I suspect the protocol sync might do the job. That is to say if we can manage to connect the original wallet to mainnet.

Mainnet support? We dont have any mainnet support. And did u connect or click to any site to synch? We dont do any of that. Can u try recovering your wallet in metamask then? Your seed phrase should work there as well.

Before we close this issue, I want to know what exactly you did. If you clicked a link to “sync” your wallet, definitely that was not us and no wallet provider or issuer would require you to do this step. I’m curious to know as well where you asked for help and where did u get the link?

Looking at your attachment, Im sorry to say that you fell into the wrong hands. I cant help you further. Pls be safe out there and always remember, if someone asks you to connect your wallet to a link or to sync, most of the time they are scammers.
